Gripping Heart AB
Gripping Heart AB was founded based on discoveries regarding the pumping and regulating functions of the heart made by M.D. Ph.D.Stig Lundbäck. Gripping Heart AB has developed a platform for heart and circulatory diagnostics, which mathematically fully describes all functions of the heart and the circulatory system from cellular level and up. This platform, GrippingHeart©, can be implemented in all kinds of existing cardiac medical imaging and devices system. Gripping Heart AB business model is focused on development and licensing of this platform and related services. The company continuously works with the establishment and development of strategic partnerships with the aim of developing products and finding new applications.
The company was founded in 2004 by an experienced team of cardiovascular researchers and a business team. Gripping Heart AB has close colloborations with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the Karolinska Institute (KI) in Stockholm, Sweden.
