Gripping Heart AB
Gripping Heart AB is founded upon discoveries regarding
the pumping and regulating functions of the heart made by M.D. Ph.D.Stig Lundbäck. The mechanics of the heart is now completely solved. Based on this, Gripping Heart AB has developed a platform for heart and circulatory
diagnostics, which mathematically fully describes all functions of the heart and the circulatory system from cellular level and up. This platform, GrippingHeart©, can be implemented in all kinds of existing cardiac medical devices. Cardiac medical devices can with GrippingHeart© inside multiply their information and reduce the source of errors related to the heart and circulatory system. Gripping Heart AB business model is focused on development and licensing of this platform and services related thereto. The company continuously works with the establishment and development of strategic partnerships with the aim of developing products and finding new applications.
The company was founded 2004 by an experienced team of cardiovascular researchers and a business team. Gripping Heart AB has close links with the Royal Institute of Technology and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden and conduct intense research with Professor Lars-Åke Brodin, who is associated with Gripping Heart AB as is Professor Östen Mäkitalo.
