Applications

The technology platform can be used in varius cardiac applications. The input data can be captured from e.g. pressure devices, image devices and pacemakers.

Pacemaker settings

Cardiac time intervals have been described as a measure of cardiac performance, where prolongation, shortening and delay of the different time intervals have been evaluated as markers of cardiac dysfunction. A relatively recently developed method with improved ability to measure cardiac events is Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI), allowing accurate measurement of myocardial movements. These parameters can together with the state diagram efficient and simple help to program and setup the optimal pacemaker mode.

Ultrasound diagnostics

The Grippingheart Lab can capture data from Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI), allowing accurate measurement of myocardial movements. As a new visualization tool for cardiac time intervals the state diagram presents comparative normalized data of systolic and diastolic performance, providing a more complete overview of cardiac function. The ventricles and the different walls in the heart during one heart cycle is clearly visualized.

Mobile monitoring

With Grippingheart Live, using a simple state diagram it is easy to visualize the heart performance of the patient. The information can be received from e.g. a blood pressure device. The information can easily be transmitted over the mobile network enabling doctors and other personal for further investigation or control.
